

AMCA to Present Webinar on New Fan-Efficiency Req’ts in ASHRAE 90.1
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill., May 12, 2020—On May 20 at 2 p.m. ET, Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) International Inc. will present “New Fan Efficiency Requirements in ANSI/ASHRAE/IES 90.1-2019,” the latest in the AMCA insiteTM series of free, professional-development-hour- (PDH-) eligible webinars.
Presented in partnership with ASHRAE Journal, the hour-long event will see Jeff Boldt, PE, FASHRAE, managing principal, IMEG Corp.; AMCA Senior Director, Global Affairs Michael Ivanovich; and AMCA Principal Engineer Tim Mathson:
- Discuss why fan energy index (FEI) replaced fan efficiency grade as the metric for efficiency provisions for commercial and industrial fans and blowers in ANSI/ASHRAE/IES 90.1-2019, Energy Standard for Buildings Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings.
