AMCA is seeking Technical Committee members for the revision of ANSI/AMCA Standard 210/ASHRAE 51— Laboratory Methods of Testing Fans for Certified Aerodynamic Performance Rating.

This joint standard with ASHRAE establishes uniform test methods for a laboratory test of a fan or other air moving device to determine its aerodynamic performance in terms of airflow rate, the pressure developed, power consumption, air density, speed of rotation, and efficiency for rating or guarantee purposes.

Committee members would be expected to participate in reviewing the standard and resolving any comments received. Meetings will be held virtually by conference call.

Stakeholders for this standard include fan manufacturers, building owners or engineers, testing laboratories, fan equipment specifiers, fan engineers, HVAC professionals, product consumers, purchasers, consultants, and regulatory bodies.

To volunteer, complete and submit the form via the link below by the close of business on 3 January 2023. For more information, contact Shruti Kohli-Bhargava, Senior Manager, Publications & Standards at shrutik@amca.org.
