A message from AMCA Middle East Region Chair Noman Qamar, technical director, CVS HVAC:
Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) International’s Middle East Region is growing by leaps and bounds, with more local manufacturing companies joining AMCA’s efforts to "advance the health, growth, and integrity of the air-movement-and-control industry consistent with the interests of the public." AMCA practices its mission by helping building design engineers, operators, and the government for constructing, and operating buildings and communities more sustainably.
As commercial and industrial facilities become more complex, issues such as energy efficiency, acoustics, indoor air quality, and fire and life safety only gain importance. With more than 100 years of engineering excellence in these areas, AMCA gives members resources and programs to help local engineers, architects, contractors, and government agencies apply hard-earned knowledge and experience from around the world.
AMCA also practices its mission through the AMCA International Certified Ratings Program (CRP), which assures that a product line has been tested and rated in conformance with AMCA International's test standards and rating requirements. The majority of Middle East companies that join AMCA participate in the CRP.
I am proud to be the chair of the AMCA Middle East Region. I urge Middle East companies to join the AMCA community, participate in the CRP, and take part in the important decisions and programs that will continue to shape and benefit the region’s construction industry.
Please find on this page more information about the AMCA Middle East Region and links to important and useful resources.
Thank you.
Sincerely,

Noman Qamar, technical director, CVS HVAC
